7Films is an eclectic team of passionate filmmakers driven to create innovative, entertaining and interesting content. Brought together from all walks of life and fearlessly lead and mentored by Lourens van Rensburg and Nina van Rensburg, our aim is to inspire, intrigue and entertain with visual communication services like commercials, short films, music videos, photography and socially responsible projects that have touched our hearts.
Once upon a time, in a land of the flat mountain they call Table and a lions head watching over the city… 7Films was born with a mission, to make great work. After a successful career with Fresh Water Films and Velocity Films, Nina and Lourens van Rensburg founded 7films in 2007, Siphiwe SJ Myeza then joined the ranks as partner. 7films is not just a business, it is a home to an array of multi-talented and vastly different directors that each have their own unique skill set. We not only believe in creating groundbreaking, forward thinking work but we believe in transformation. We believe in investing in the industry and creating a space for young talented directors to come through the ranks and continue to push the boundaries in the film industry. Everyday is a masterclass led by Lourens who leads with an iron sword and passion, thus breeding the best of the best. The passion we invest in our arsenal gives a return in investment through the passion they put in their work.
